Twelve years after starting the four-stroke revolution, with its award winning DF70 and DF60 outboards, Suzuki has reinvented the category again with the DF90A. The first of Suzuki’s new generation of four-strokes, the DF90A is a showcase of advancements and achievements – like digital sequential electronic fuel injection, a powerful 2.59:1 final drive ratio, and a zero-maintenance self-adjusting time chain. All of this comes in addition to Suzuki’s Lean Burn Control System, and newer models also sport the optional Suzuki Troll Mode System.

The New DF60AV is designed with a “High Energy Rotation” lower unit, sporting a 2.42:1 gear ratio, enabling this new model to use a bigger 14″ propeller – perfect for powering pontoon boats and other large, heavy crafts. This mid-range engine is also designed with the Lean Burn Fuel Control System, which adjusts the air/fuel mixture, specific to your vessel’s operating conditions. This system significantly improves fuel efficiency, from low speeds well into the cruising range. New DF60AV models are also available with the optional Suzuki Troll Mode System.

The DF40A is the only engine in the 40 HP class to offer DOHC performance, and also the only to incorporate a maintenance-free, oil-bathed timing chain, which provides the outboard with improved durability and maintenance-free operation. With larger displacements for increased power and performance, Suzuki’s Lean Control System improves fuel economy with designs that are more compact and lighter in weight than their predecessors. The new DF40A engines also include the Suzuki Troll Mode System.
